Xbox 360 has started its journey in early 2003. The starting form was Xenon. Its flow follows the invention of Xbox 2, Xbox FS, etc. Netbox was also a pioneer phase of Xbox 360. In 2003, Microsoft led the development of this gaming box with the use of Xenon software. That month was the month of celebration for Microsoft since; it had included 400 developers in Bellevue and Washington for the system support.

Peter Moore joined the Microsoft at that time. He was the president of Sega. That was the time when ATI signed on to launch the graphic processing unit. This deal was announced two days later.

Xbox 360 was launched in the United States on November 2005. It was also launched in Mexico and Canada at the same time. On December 2, 2005 it was produced in Europe and in Japan it was launched on December 10, 2005. It was later launched in Chile, Colombia, Brazil and many of the famous world countries including India. At starting, it was produced in 36 countries. And during the short time of one year it reached the global markets.

The present day market has two upgraded forms of Xbox 360. The first one is Xbox 360 Arcade and the other one is Xbox 360 Elite. These two forms of Xbox 360 lead the whole market of gaming. Xbox 360 Arcade is a successive replacement of Xbox 360 Core. It replaces the Xbox 360 Core in October 2007.

The Xbox 360 Arcade is the starting trend setter for the Xbox 360. The price was officially announced on October 22, 2007. The full version consists of a wireless controller and composite AV cable. The support of HDMI 1.2 output was also given with it. There is also an internal 512 MB memory chip. The system is also supported with a 5 Xbox Live Arcade titles. These titles are Luxor 2, Boom Boom Rocket, Luxor 2, Feeding Frenzy, Pac-Man Championship Edition, and Uno. There are also a welcome video and various game demos. Because of all these features, the cost was higher.

The Xbox 360 Elite is the other variation of Xbox 360. It is built up with a 120 GB hard drive and there is soothing and attractive matte black finish. The starting cost was around $100 more because of the upgrades. It also has interesting games like Lego Indiana Jones and the Original Adventures.
